Types of Hauntings
HAUNTING'S: There are several types of haunting's, here we will examine them a little closer to help understand the differences. As I'm sure to offend again. No two haunting's are alike, and I am not listing them in any specific order. So that being said...... Let's talk Haunting.
RECOGNITION: This type of haunting Is like a movie clip playing over and over, with very little change in their actions. A spirit stuck in a dimension of time and space, they won't interact with the living for the most part. The deceased don't know they have died. This is thought to be the product of a sudden or violent death. These spirits can find peace, but they have to be contacted to be crossed over. Some even claim these are the spirits with unfinished business. I just think they are lost souls.
CONTACT: This type of haunting the spirit has contact with the living. These spirits can move objects, touch, push, or hit. Some can even appear and disappear at will. Most are pranksters, hiding your keys, turning on appliances, turning on the water, ect. Most of these are not malevolent spirits and communication with them is done quite easily and simply. If you're bothered, a simple " leave me alone " works in most cases. However this type of spirit can be persistent and may need to be removed, but doing so can cause the spirit to become dangerous and even violent. Please don't try spirit removal yourself it could make matters worse, please seek a professional.
VIOLENT: These types of haunting's are especially concerning, they can make your life a living hell. These are the haunting's in which unexplained scratches appear, thing's flying off shelves, unexplained noises or sounds, horrible nightmares, even physical sickness. Some cases have lead to possession by malevolent forces. These types of haunting need to be dealt with quickly as they are perhaps the worst type of haunting. These spirits must be banished or exorcised.
SPECTRAL: These types of haunting's are unique in that you see the spirit and they see you, but the major difference is they cannot touch you or you them. Also voice contact may be difficult. Most of these spirits are wanting to cross over, they are lonely, all they know and love has moved on, but they remain bound to this dimensional plane these spirits are truly seeking peace. To cross over these spirits you must find why they are still here. These are truly the spirits with unfinished business and they are asking for help.
RESIDUAL: These type of haunting's are unique in that they are events of the past seen in the present. Like the haunting's on a battle field. You will see the same spirits doing the same things over and over. The difference between this type and "residual" is that contact can never be made. These events were so extreme that they left a imprint on time, everlasting. The motions never change they remain the same all the time. These haunting's are truly like a movie. These spirits can never be helped because they simply do not exist as other spirits do.
